In this course, Jeff shares both traditional and modern techniques while building a beautiful fan-back Windsor chair. Beginning with riving green wood and bending parts with steam, you’ll see every stage of the build—shaping spindles, carving the seat, turning legs and stretchers, and assembling each component into a strong, elegant chair.

JEFF WYATT
Jeff Wyatt is a chairmaker and woodworking instructor based in Tennessee, best known for his finely crafted Windsor chairs. He studied chairmaking under Greg Pennington, Jeff Lefkowitz, David Ellsworth, and Luke Barnett, and teaches classes at the Sam Beauford Woodworking Institute and Highland Woodworking. A frequent demonstrator at woodworking festivals, Jeff has also been featured in This Old House and American Woodturner.
